Eating Healthy doesn’t mean you have to miss out on tasty food. In fact, there is a large number of food that’s good, healthy and Tasty. Yes! Tasty and Healthy food. Today most people opt for cheap, highly processed and prepackaged junk foods, most of which are high in unhealthy fat, calories salt(sodium), sugar and offer little or no nutritional value. These foods, though readily available and taste good, have been linked with Obesity, high blood pressure and numerous other Chronic diseases such as Diabetes.

Some Studies have found that the antioxidants in apples can help you reduce the risk of developing cancer, hypertension, diabetes and increase life span.

Carrots

The carrot is a well known and widely used vegetable, it is categorized as a root vegetable that is really tasty and crunchy, and packed with nutrients like fiber and vitamins. Carrots are also very high in carotene, which have numerous benefits.

These benefits include reduced cholesterol, improved vision, prevention from chronic diseases such as heart attacks, cancer, carrots can help to increase and boost the health of skin, boost the immune system, aid digestion, have cardiovascular health benefits, detoxify the body from radicals and boost health in several ways. You can easily grow them in a small home garden or order them.

Oatmeal

Oats are among the healthiest grains on Earth, low in calories they are not only healthy but tasty and can be served, cooked in various ways.

Oatmeal is endowed with complex carbohydrates, water soluble fiber, which helps digestion and stabilize levels of blood glucose. They also pack B vitamins, omega-3 fatty acids, folate, and potassium. Studies have shown oats to be able to stabilize sugar levels in blood and reduce the risks of diabetes.

Not only is oatmeal (porridge) a delicious food, it’s also very filling. Eating filling foods may help you eat fewer calories and lose weight. By delaying the time it takes your stomach to empty of food, the beta-glucan in oatmeal may increase your feeling of fullness hence helping one lose weight.
