April 7, 14, 21 & 28, May 5 – Beginning Knitting
Bring a 16 inch circular size 8 knitting needle, a size “I” crochet hook and yarn worsted weight or larger to make a hat for a first project. I will show you how to make a hat as a first project. If you finish the hat I will show you how to do any project of your choice.

I will teach the basics and beyond in bas-relief carving and sculpture. I will also teach the fundamentals of safety, and sharpening tools.

Elaine Tormey
I have taught knitting for North Idaho College and on my own after that. I won grand champion at the Bonner County fair 4 years in a row. This year the fair committee have asked me to be a judge.
David Baranski
I am an established artist with 35 years experience. My work is collected across the U.S. and abroad. I have hosted numerous carving classes for children and adults. I also teach private classes. My gallery is open June through August or on demand anytime.
Hattie Goodman
Hattie Goodman, Waldorf teacher for 20 years and Camp Director for 10 years, loves to teach young and old alike. Her knowledge and skills run like still, deep waters. Living indigenously for 15 years in Guatemala and Peru, she became fluent in Spanish, weaving, and growing food. Hattie’s deep connection to the creation, her hands work in harmony with the seasons and In loving partnership with the earth.
