The process of working group formation began on November 15th, at the first general working group event, which was held after the Unleashing Event “Imagine Tomorrow – Today” at the Panida.
Since then the working groups began meeting regularly, usually once a month, organized themselves and developed their own style of working and processes. Each group has started projects and activities, sometimes joining efforts where it makes sense and co-operating with local organizations, businesses and government. Every month a representative of each working group attends the core circle meeting and reports on what is happening in their working group and takes back to the working group everything that was talked about in the core circle. Any support and needs a working group has from the STI community at large or the non-profit organization (STI, Inc.) are taken to the core circle, discussed and returned with any pertaining information or suggestions. The core circle itself operates as another working group, supporting the ever evolving activities, events, plans, work and envisioning for a resilient community of the working groups. Decisions are made by each working group independently.
Please visit the individual working group pages (click on the group name below) for further details and information, including meeting notes, of what is happening.
